What Even Is a Lip Ganache? (And Why You'll Never Go Back)

It's not a gloss. It's not a matte. It's not a balm. It's something better.

When we set out to create the Sweet Treat collection, we knew one thing: we didn't want to make another lip product that already existed. The world has enough glosses that feel sticky after ten minutes. Enough mattes that turn your lips into a desert by lunchtime. Enough balms that promise colour and deliver... a vague tint.

We wanted something that felt like ganache. Rich, smooth, impossibly luxurious -- the kind of texture that makes you close your eyes when you feel it.

The Texture That Started Everything

If you've ever run a spoon through real chocolate ganache -- the slow, glossy pour, the way it catches the light, the weight of it without the heaviness -- that's exactly what we were chasing.

Our lip ganache is a cream-to-velvet formula. It goes on smooth like a balm, settles into a soft, cushioned finish that isn't quite matte and isn't quite glossy. It sits somewhere in between -- in that perfect spot where your lips look naturally full, hydrated, and pigmented. Like you just ate something delicious (which, honestly, is the vibe).

The formula is buildable, too. One swipe gives you a sheer wash of colour -- gorgeous for everyday. Two swipes and you've got full, saturated coverage that actually stays put. No feathering. No bleeding. No reapplying every hour.

Why Does It Smell Like Actual Dessert?

Because we're obsessed, and we think you should be too.

Each of the five shades in the Sweet Treat collection is scented to match its name. Not a vague "flavoured" approximation. Not a synthetic candy smell. We're talking:

  • Raspberry Coulis -- real raspberry tartness, like a silver spoon dragged through warm coulis
  • Strawberry Jam -- sun-ripe strawberry preserves, the homemade kind with too much fruit
  • Hot Cocoa -- brown sugar, warm milk, a whisper of vanilla at the very end
  • Maraschino Cherry -- that bright, syrupy cherry you always steal from the top of the glass
  • Tiramisu -- espresso first, then mascarpone, then a dusting of cacao that lingers

We wanted the act of putting on lip colour to feel like a tiny ritual. Uncap it. Breathe it in. Smile. Apply. That's the whole point -- beauty should be a moment of joy, not a chore you rush through before leaving the house.

The Vegan Thing

Every single product Analemma makes is 100% vegan. No beeswax. No carmine. No lanolin. No compromise.

Instead, we use plant-based waxes, nourishing oils, and pigments that actually perform. The formula is cruelty-free from ingredient sourcing to final product -- because luxury that comes at someone else's expense isn't luxury. It's just expensive.

We didn't make vegan lip products because it's trendy. We made them because it's right. And honestly? The formula is better for it. Plant-based waxes give a smoother, more flexible finish than beeswax. The colour payoff is richer. The wear is longer. Going vegan didn't mean sacrificing quality -- it meant finding a better way to get there.

Five Shades, Five Moods

We designed each shade to be a mood, not just a colour:

Raspberry Coulis is for when you want to be noticed. A deep berry that reads confident and effortless at the same time.

Strawberry Jam is your everyday pink -- but elevated. The shade your lips naturally want to be, just more.

Hot Cocoa is the warm neutral for slow mornings and long evenings. Candlelight in colour form.

Maraschino Cherry is the bold one. The red that makes people pause mid-sentence. Not for the faint of heart.

Tiramisu is layered sophistication. The shade you reach for when you want to feel like the most interesting person at the table.

When Can I Get It?

The Sweet Treat lip ganache collection launches March 15, 2026 right here on analemma.shop.

Five shades. All vegan. All dessert-scented. All made with the kind of obsessive attention to detail that only happens when the founder personally rejects six batches before approving one.

Your lips are about to have the best month of their life.
